Fantastic to carry and pop up for conventions (Dragon Con, Comic Con) or to watch my granddaughter play on the playground. Surprisingly very comfy, too!

We bought these after checking out some similar chairs in a sporting good store. These were half as expensive and replaced our heavier bulkier camping chairs. Super comfy chairs to sit in next to the fire after a long day. Light weight and easy to put together. The storage bag is great and helps when packing it away. Perfect for car camping

Lightweight. Perfect for the backpacker that doesn’t want to sit on the ground when it’s wet. Low enough that it can be used under a tarp with your hammock.

Love my little chair so easy to carry on my bike or anywhere use all the time

These are some handy little chairs, so small and lightweight. My wife and I used these for about five hours this past weekend at a grandkids football tournament. They seem fragile if used improperly, but very effective if used properly. First, keep them on a flat surface, don't lean back or sideways and keep an eye on your grandkids so they don't rough house in them. I'm actually impressed after using them.

Very much a good chair for best class enjoyment with reasonable pricing. But seriously now, I just got the chair tonight and I like it enough to order another for my wife so she can rest at the campsite too. We wanted smaller camp chairs because we're tired of bulkier folding camp chairs taking up space in the trunk, and this chair folds up super small.

It does lack armrests and cupholders, but hold onto your beer and leave your phone in your pack; problem solved!

So far; very impressed. We bought these for a long (multi-week) camping car trip that we'll be taking this summer. Our regular folding chairs (you know the type; big ones that are over three-foot long when in their carry bags) are great, but too big when we have limited space in the car.
THESE are perfect for our purposes. Very quick and easy to put up and take down.
    Low to the ground? Yes.
    Great lumbar support? No.
Priced OK for what they are and what they can do for you? Yes.

If you are basically healthy and agile, these will be great for you to get some sit-down time around a camp-fire or watching a sunset, or even watching a kid's soccer game without having to lug pounds with you to do so. Me, I am tall and thin (6', 175#s) and am more than comfortable in these chairs. If you happen, however, to have a larger body frame, or happen to weigh a lot, they may be less comfortable for you.
I've seen the VERY expensive versions of these at R E I, and although these aren't dirt-cheap themselves, they are quite a bit less then the name-brand ones I've just mentioned. These have and will meet our needs well.

I get a lot of comments when I pull this little chair out at different events. I love that it is so compact I can store it under the seat on my scooter and take it ANYWHERE! At first I was a little concerned that it doesn't have the head support like some do, but I never found myself looking for more. Great support, compact design, and so far the quality seems great!

We loved this chair so much we bought two! Great for hiking or trips to the beach. It is super light weight and sturdy. I love how small is breaks down and the carrying bag it came with. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to spend time outdoors!

Worked ok but sank on sand or gravel bar.

We bought for backpacking but take it with us even on short hikes. Chair sits lower than a standard folding chair.

Great light weight chair. can hold the weight without any issues.

This chair is very comfy and the extra pegs at the base of the legs helps it stay upright. The front legs are slightly too short for me which means I needed to rearrange the chair so the front legs were slightly elevated

I have not yet used chair camping but quality seems fine. It assembles easy. It's quite comfortable for its size. My wife and I decided we were done sitting up against a rock or log on our backpacking adventures. I figure the weight will be worth it. I don't know if there is any quality difference between this chair and the original Chair One by Helionox (Big Agnes I believe) as I don't own one for comparison. I do feel a little guilty buying such an obvious knockoff of a good brands product, but I needed two and these are half the cost. I guess we'll see how long they last.

That's the bottom line. This little camp chair is awesome! It's easy and quick to set up (without hurrying, I timed myself a few times and got 'er done in about a minute each time.) It takes about 10-15 seconds longer to put back in the bag, but still not bad. The canvas folds easily and goes in the bag separately from the frame. For assembly, simply hold the bag and the canvas under your arm while you pop the frame pieces together, put the bag on the frame (more on that later), then slide the four corners of the canvas over the four upright poles. The strongly-reinforced corners go on snugly, so you have to push the poles toward each other much like stringing a bow (but with almost no effort), which leaves the chair solidly put together until you're ready to put it away. You can pick it up, toss it around, drag it... it will not come apart until you take it apart.

This chair is made for backpacking or other situations where a larger, heavier chair is not practical. I would not recommend this as a regular camp chair for drive-to campgrounds or an evening by the lake because you would probably prefer something a bit bigger, more solid, and with arm rests. I am NOT saying this is not sturdy; IT IS STURDY, easily supporting my 5'10 270 pound frame, but I can feel it give a little bit if I twist or lean forward. Still, I never felt it would collapse or anything. The negative reviews saying it broke are surely from people who leaned the chair back or to the side, putting all their weight on one or two legs. There is no reason for the chair to break otherwise.

It is extremely lightweight and convenient, folding so small it's a breeze to carry either by grasping it like a thick stick or holding one of the two loop handles. It assembles very easily; indeed, the elastic cord holding the pole pieces together will pull some of them together automatically as soon as you remove the chair from the bag! And the bag is perfectly sized for the contents, unlike so many sleeping bag or tent sacks that are frustratingly so small you can almost never get the items back in. And the bag's loop handles on both ends double as a means to store the bag off the ground when using the chair. Before putting the canvas on the chair frame, simply put each loop handle over one of the frame's upright poles and let it slide down where it'll be out of the way but not forgotten, nor dirty from being on the ground.

I bought this chair to take with me to cub scout camp with my 7yo tiger cub. At his age, his adult partner (me) had to be (er, got to be - it was truly a blessing and privilege) with him constantly. I know the camp, as I've been going for years with my older boys, and I knew that I would be walking all over the rugged terrain of the beautiful southern Cascades Mountains to places with no seating other than a log, tree stump, boulder or occasional bench -- all with no back support. I recently had major back surgery and I cannot stand for any length of time, nor can I sit without back support more than a few minutes. A regular camp chair is large, heavy, and impractical to carry everywhere with me. This chair was perfect.

As we arrived to the archery range, waterfront, flags, or wherever his activity schedule took us, I would unzip the bag and start to assemble the chair as we walked, it's so easy. A minute later I would be ready to sit in comfort, watching and photographing my son playing. This thing was a real back saver!

The only negative I should mention is the chair is a little bit low to the ground. No more than any camp chair, I believe, but some people might have difficulty standing up from it. It has no arm rests to push up from, but you can turn a bit and use the back of the chair for minimal assistance, I cannot stand up from sitting on a rock or stump that is lower to the ground, but I can manage from this chair.

I was not the only one impressed by this chair. Five or six other dads at camp asked about it, wanting to know how much it cost and where they could get one. I recommended this truly remarkable little chair to them, and no

Took on a 5 day backpack camping trip. It was a 22 mile round trip hike with 30lbs pack on my back. Well worth the extra 2lbs in the pack. Everyone enjoyed the seat! Much better then the rocks as an option
